Titan X

I'v been following the Titan x for a month or so now and pre-orders are up with sales going official tomorrow i believe. Before i hit submit order, what are the chances there will be a game bundle? Right now the 970 and 980 get you Witcher 3, and when i bought my current 670 it came with some crappy in game cash for some games i'v never played.

Its just with GTA 5 (hopefully) hitting shelves in less than a month and my current cards struggling with VR content, it is well in due time for an upgrade. Which leads back to my question. I'd be bummed out to order now only to find a game bundled with it a month down the road. However if there will be no games bundled, i'd rather get the card sooner rather than later.

I know i know, first world problems
what are your thoughts though? Im not the only one oogling over this and slapping my wallet telling myself to wait in case there is game bundle later on am i?

  • Well, if you can afford to drop $1000 USD on a card, I wouldn't be that concerned about a $50 game.

well to me $1000 is a lot of money, and i just want to see i get the most out of it. I just wanted to know if anyone on these forums understood how nvidia does these bundles.

I'v been converting my stuff over UE4, i love their setup and the blueprint system is just a godsend. Unfortunately, my little cards get a whopping 26ish fps while using the rift in UE4, so its very due time for an upgrade.
  • I hear ya. No matter what you do, there will always be a better deal just around the corner though - you can never win that game. If you wait till June when they release the 980-Ti, I bet the titan will drop to $850. You probably don't want to wait that long though.
btw, it just got listed at the geforce store: $999, no bundles.

Ya, like i said about my current 670. When i got them they came with some lame in game cash for some games i'v never played... a few months after i got the cards though, they had a game bundle that you got to choose from three different games. I was a bit bummed.
And yeah, I don't want to wait that long. Im really REAALLY liking UE4 and it would be nice to get some steady frames. All the judder gives me a headache. But UE4 blueprint system is just amazing. I've never been a very good programmer, but the blueprint systems is visual programming... its glorious. That along with all the new stuff with UE4 makes the headaches worth it.
