URGENT: Hacker’s Meta Horizon Account Locked as My Head Account

Hi Meta Horizon Support,

I’m reaching out in absolute desperation. A hacker has gained access to my Instagram and Meta account, and although I’ve managed to get back into my Instagram, their Meta Horizon profile is still locked as the head account on mine.

 

They’ve set this as the primary Meta account linked to mine, and I cannot remove or replace it with my own Meta profile. Meta Support has directed me to you to resolve this issue.

This person is not me — they are a hacker and are currently spamming my friends and misusing my account. I urgently need their Meta Horizon profile disconnected and deleted from my account so I can re-link mine and secure everything fully.

 

Please help — I am truly desperate and just want to reclaim full control of my account.

    First, we request that you attempt to unlink the unauthorized account:

     

    • Visit your Meta Account Center and remove the unauthorized account.

    • Tap or click Accounts.

    • Tap the profile that you'd like to remove.

    • Tap Remove account.

     

    Additionally, we recommend that you do the following:

     

    Ensure that you change your passwords on your Meta account, Instagram account and Facebook account.

    Enable two-factor authentication on your Meta account, Instagram account and Facebook account.

     

    If you are unable to to unlink the unauthorized account and have taken the steps above, we would like to invite you to a private chat.
