Very poor customer service – no empathy or real support

Disappointed with Meta/Oculus support. When issues arise, there’s no real engagement—just automated responses and links to generic help pages. No reasoning, no empathy, and no effort to actually resolve the problem. Feels like they just want you to go away rather than help. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time.

  • Dude same, I just wrapped up an hour long "support" chat with someone who refused to listen to anything I said and repeatedly told me that my headset would not work with a game I had previously played on that very headset. They've done nothing so far to actually help, then told me to contact support of a company that Meta shut down a year ago.

  • you think you've seen the worst yet they think a bank can give information on a gift card no bank in the world can do that they also ask for the dumbest things non to man the worst support system on earth which is why so many ppl are going PS and Xbox bc meta sucks and what's worst is hundreds of ppl can buy games because they have to give them information about a gift card that's so dumb i even went there in person and they said we cant do any of that your ganna have to contact support thought our page and i asked if your ganna say that then why the hell dose the door say customer service. 

  • They are beyond awful. I’m actually done with Meta & Quest as a platform, just waiting for Valve Deckard to come out later this year. My worst issue was that I’d earned maximum referral credits, which I waited patiently to redeem, did so when the time came using my mobile app, only to find that only a tiny fraction of the balance had actually been added to my wallet - Meta support didn’t care about this at all. Weeks of back & forth with obvious A.I. chatbots eventually lead to them essentially telling me to go away. I’ve been such a loyal customer - owned 4 headsets, $ 1,000’s spent on software, so many referrals & advocating their platforms, only for that to happen 😓😓😓

    Same here, the lawsuit is in progress if the issue is not resolved properly, happy to live in europe sometimes :)
