What is Meta doing?
I just want to start off by saying that I have put thousands of hours into the quest headsets. I want to believe that this will end up as a device that everyone will want, but there are so many issues that have existed for YEARS at this point.
Meta is a multi-BILLION dollar company, yet it feels like only every 6 months they release an OS update with 1 good feature paired with 5 bugs and a downgrade.
Why does the new Meta TV app not support resizing? Why is the only way to watch 3D movies still to rip off a 3D Blu-ray? Why is Quest Link just as buggy as it was in 2016? Why does hand tracking not work after I close quest link, and I need to restart my headset to get it working again? WHY do we need an experimental home environment FORCED on us without any other option that sucks up battery life? Why can't I dim my environment to pitch black when using immersive mode (full screen) on a window?
I could go on and on, but where is this money going to? Because as an end user, these billions of dollars of losses that meta are pouring into VR im not feeling, maybe its all going into Horizon Worlds, the VR Roblox everyone has been asking for!!!
