What was your favorite VR Holiday gift?

Been meaning to teach myself Vulkan for a while but didn't have time for it till now nor really the background needed. Not sure I actually want to make a VR game, but I'm trying to teach myself how to build a game engine specifically for VR from scratch.

Unfortunately i had to buy something for myself this year - no VR goodies under the tree.  I went for voice attack and the ASTRA pack - it's bloody killing me trying to get it set up correctly but i've not spent this many hours in the Rift for such a long time - god Elite Dangerous is wonderful!

hah - yes, I never thought I'd see the day where I'm bragging publicly about standing on a mat

I have Elite and have heard awesome things about the voice pack. I need to invest in this asap.

This is the second thing you have linked i need in my life. Years of marching running jogging i sometimes feel my feet have had enough, when i play vr it really begins to show. Great link i need to find this, ty Zen

No present but i treated myself to il-2 Battle of Kuban, also fallout vr for cheap, for when it gets fixed enough to play

yes elite is the best with Astra, was playing with an amigo today, shes got the most pimped Conda and was carrying me at the CG Bountys. Great times in VR. Am really good with the setup if you are ever stuck on something, have also made custom packs...this is mostly astra making star citizen jokes but it is pretty fun.

Impressive. Let me know how that goes; VR development is a growing passion of mine.

Hmmm, that floor mat looks good, I might order myself one. I really need a good non-slip floor reference to stop myself from punching my bookshelves, and playing Fallout 4 VR standing up has been hard on my back and knees. (I spent 5 hours playing it last night, and boy was I sore!)

Yes this floor mat does not move at all. And I was doing all sorts of maneuvers in The Unspoken trying to cast spells and strike them with my shield. Almost fell over a few times because of the whole Heights phobia I have going on.

In fact, because this particular mat is raised a bit off the ground, it actually felt like it was adding a sense of presence and immersion when I was standing on elevated Platforms in VR. That's an added bonus on top of it relieving the body of aches and pains from standing in one place for hours.

I didn't get any..well the state gave me a fine and so did the water company.. does that count?

Also.. where Can I get that Floor mat cuz that looks neat.

Mine is 20x36 (inches) but they have a wider one (20x48).
