What's your strategy for consuming Rift news?
I realized I spend a lot of time trying not to miss anything (here, reddit, elsewhere). Wondering if I could be doing it differently?
This is my process for consuming news here on these forums:
1) Login
2) Forums
3) Hit "View unread posts".
4) Go back a few pages to find the time where I last checked the forums.
5) Open up interesting topics from page X in new tabs.
6) Read every tab I opened, closing them when I'm done.
7) Refresh page X to make sure new topics didn't get pushed down into the top of page X in the last few minutes.
8) If some new topics I'm interested in showed up at the top of page X, read them.
9) Go to page X - 1.
10) Repeat steps 5-9 until all caught up.
This can be quite a time-consuming process sometimes! I find it easier to keep up than /r/oculus though, as each topic there has branching conversations which make it hard to keep up with new posts as they come in, and older topics basically drop off into obscurity and aren't categorized into sub forums to make re-discovery easy.
