- saviorntProtegeFilled it out, however there are some issues with the survey.
For example, I could spend hours in some demos and not feel VR sickness at all. Other demos makes my stomach all twisted for hours after the experience. - TwitchmonkeyExplorerIndeed. I took the survey, but you can't really simplify the issue of VR sickness that easily. If you're interested we had a thread a little while ago about how you might classify the severity of VR sickness for a variety of different tolerance levels.
- psychicparrotHonored GuestThanks for the replies and for taking time to do the survey. I really appreciate it!
I'm struggling with numbers a bit here, so if you know anyone who hasn't filled it out please do share the link wherever you can (or if you're someone who hasn't already done it, of course!) - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QJSLWRJ
I understand that it's not going to cover severity well and it does generalize 'all or nothing' sickness, but I'm just looking for a basic overall figure at this stage. I would definitely do it differently next time, though, based on your comments.
Cheers!
Jeff. - RedAndBlueHonored GuestIt also might be useful to have a DK1 and DK2 version, some people may still be heavily influenced by the compromised DK1 experience.
Another useful addition would be to categorize wether the user was locomoting forward/ strafing/ turning. Or if the motion sickness occured while in a stationary experience.
For instance, during DK2 demos, I've had very few people still say they felt ill during static standing experiences. Whereas locomoting forward is almost always a barf fest for N00bies. - Jedi2016Honored Guest

This.
I can sit all day in a static "looking around" experience, but I don't have my "VR legs" yet when it comes to movement, especially rotational head movement.
