My quest accidentally set the lock screen pattern to unlock. When I set the password, it was nine dots. When I set it to unlock, the homepage lock screen showed an eight-square grid.

Perhaps you can reset your lock by using the MetaHorizon app on your phone, or by logging in to your Meta account on the web?

Unfortunately, if you can't reset it from the app, you'll must factory reset the Quest.
