We see that you are having some issues with 2FA.
If you are using 2FA with us for the first time it should have asked you for your phone number after you have selected text message, as it needs a phone number to send the code too.
If it did not ask you for a phone number then you might already have put in your phone number when you where setting up 2FA, or something else, if this is the case, could you please check that the phone number provided is the same as the phone you are currently using, as this might be what happened.
2FA uses whichever method you chose when you were setting it up, having the app does not disable the use of SMS to receive the 2FA code.
We would suggest that once you are comfortable with receiving the 2FA code with your preferred method that you keep using that method as switching them regularly might be a problem.
