3s air link not working

I've checked everything I need to, drivers are updated, pc and headset are updated, I deleted and reinstalled the link app, I logged in and out of the link app, somehow the remote desktop can detect and load my pc through WiFi but not when it comes to the actual link, I have an RX 6600XT card which I've checked is compatible, but everytime I try to set up an air link it doesn't seem to be able to detect my pc

    We at Meta Store Support would like to offer a hand in attempting to resolve these issues, and get you back to enjoying your time with VR.

     

    To ensure the best practices for using the Meta Quest air link please check the following first;

    • Have the PC connected to Router/Access Point via Ethernet cable and not Wi-Fi
    • Headset should be connected to Wi-Fi via 5GHz band (AC or AX)
    • Router in the same room as the headset or in line-of-sight, and at least 1m (3.3ft) off the ground
    • Non-mesh network configuration

    We recommend trying the following troubleshooting suggestions to see if they resolve the problem.

     

    • Re-pair the air link- Some issues can be resolved by disabling the functionality on the Quest headset.
    • Settings > Ensure that 'Air Link' is disabled, restart both Quest and PC, follow the setup instructions- Set up Quest Link
    • Hard reboot your devices in this order- Router > PC > Headset.
    • Use the diagnostic tool- RouteThis to check for any conflicts with the headset and your network. RouteThis- Meta Quest
