Firstly, and this is very important, in your Windows settings, select System->Display->Graphics->Advanced graphics settings, and then make sure that "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" is DISABLED. If enabled, it will cause streaming games to your headset for certain games to fail, especially if using SteamLink.

If you are using QuestLink to connect to the PC, you can try using either the Quest OpenXR runtime or the Steam OpenXR runtime and see if one works best.

To use the Quest's Open XR runtime, right-click the Meta Quest Link's icon in the system tray (the MetaQuestLink app must be running of course) and select Settings. Then select the General tab and under "OpenXR Runtime" click the button "Set Meta Quest Link as the active OpenXR runtime" (if the button is greyed out, then it means it is already active). To run your game, you must have Steam open on your PC and then also run SteamVR. If you see a message that "SteamVR is not the active OpenXR runtime", ignore it. Start your game and see if it works. If it doesn't work, close the game, then in the SteamVR app on the PC, click the "three horizontal bars" icon in the top left corner of the app and select Settings. Then click "OpenXR" and then click "SET STEAMVR AS OPENXR RUNTIME". Now close and re-open Steam VR. Now try running your game again.
