Age Authorisation one shot
Hi All,
I had an email asking to verify my account by 2nd of August (or it would be locked) which involved me clicking a link and verifying I had a bank account by depositing 99p. It then asked me to switch on the headset (I was doing this all from PC) and copy down the set of numbers that would appear in the headset.
There were none there and it didn't make it clear which headset to switch on (I have 3 meta headsets) so I just assumed any one would do.
So I quit the verification process and started again but all the link did was take me to the Languages page of the accounts centre.
I cannot stand these draconian practices and this will be my last Meta headset. My wife had her account locked as she never saw the email and we could never get it unlocked again losing hundreds in software which has taken over a year to replace.
I have asked Meta support for help but they don't really seem to understand my issue.
Any help or pointers to point me in the right direction to authorise the poxy account would be appreciated.
