Am I screwed?

I was gifted the device for Christmas. Although I barely used, it I actually enjoyed it.

Today, I went in for a workout, and the device fell off of my head when I bent down during the work out. It barely hit the turf in my backyard. It hasn't come on since. The charging light doesn't even work. If I knew that navigating this issue with warranty and all, I would've asked my son to return it the next day. 

My question is, what are the chances of my device turning back on after all the troubleshooting?

    You're not really meant to use the headset outdoors. Sunlight will damage the lenses. Warranty won't cover accidental droppages. And be careful, the headset is not sweat proof.

    If you don't even get a charging light, then your headset needs repairs. Try Fix my Oculus if you live in USA. Or return the headset for warranty replacement, but don't tell Meta that you dropped it 😉. But Meta will only send you a refurbished unit.
