Anyone else's quest 3S making battery low sounds in the middle of the night??

It might just be a bug with mine, but I have found that if I forget to charge my 3S after it's low, it tends to randomly play the 'battery low' tune but slowed down when it dies in the middle of the night and it scares the living heck out of me. Tried asking meta's AI support bot but got nothing helpful. Please tell me if anyone else's headset does this, cuz it's FRIGGIN ANNOYING.

Believe me, if there wasn't a warning tone, the forum got flooded by complaining posts like.... "why was there no warning, now the battery is drowned to a point it doesn't take charge anymore."

Don't forget to charge and you won't get annoyed by the tone. Simple solution😉

Hmm. Ig that makes sense, but I just don't understand why it's practically unheard of anywhere else, and if it's intentional, why does the settings not have an option to disable it. Thanks for the tip tho

Warnings are not designed to be turned off, I guess😉..... otherwise, they wouldn't make sense.

You see, this tone is not only to remind you to charge the device, so its ready for the next play session.

When a battery drains under a certain charging point often, it'll shorten the life of the battery or makes it unchargeable.

Maybe consider buying a headstrap with an additional battery, so you have longer play time without draining the internal battery to the warning tone point.

Actually,  I have never heard the tone myself...... I use additional batteries on both Q2 andQ3 and they never drain to that point.

As Choleni says, keep it charged. Another solution, put your headset in another room so you can't hear it. An even easier solution, press the off button before you go to bed.
