ASW doesn't automatically kick in when required when HAGS is on

As per the title, ASW doesn't automatically switch on when hardware accelerated graphics settings (HAGS) is on when playing DCS world. Also, I have recently started to get bad stuttering when HAGS is off despite high frame rates (80fps for 80hz). The problem seems to have started after one of the recent quest link updates
