The pattern in this post is a classic mix of accurate self‑diagnosis followed by immediate dismissal, then a pivot to an explanation that doesn't actually map to how the Quest 3 works.
My battery is only at 17%
and
Something else I notice changing is the speed of charging. It has slowed down significantly along with the battery going down fast.
and
I know that it could be because of how I'm charging it
You've basically answered why you are having battery problems, then subsequently tried to deny that it is the cause of problem.
These are textbook signs of battery wear or charging hardware issues:
- Rapid drain
- Sudden shutdown at ~17%
- Slower charging
- Issue worsening over time
Another thing that could add into it is how I am a secondary account on my Quest headset, as they tend to have more bugs than regular.
That's simply nonsense. Secondary accounts do not affect battery chemistry, charging speed, or power‑off thresholds. There's no mechanism for a secondary account to cause the headset to drain faster or shut down early.
sorry for not understanding the problem
