Black Screen Issues Quest 2

Had the common “black screen of death issue” for months now, still haven’t found any solution. 

Issues:

  • Black screen but lit screen after meta logo boot up
  • controllers keep buzzing
  • there are times the screen would display something but goes away after a second
  • screen drifting away

have tried solutions:

tried removing the rubber protector from the headset for the proximity sensors - failed

tried doing hard reboot 10-30seconds of holding down power button - failed

tried factory reset (boot menu shows up, but when you let go of the buttons /volume + and power button/ it disappears so I cant properly do a factory reset)

tried cleaning the cameras - failed

at this point I really don't know what else to do besides junking it, not really wanting to spend money to repair it. but I would still be open to hear some of your possible solutions, Much thanks❤️
