Black screen (Not Responding) on Desktop Editor start

Hi, I’m experiencing a persistent issue with Horizon Worlds Desktop Editor on my PC. After installing and launching the app, it immediately shows a black screen and becomes unresponsive (“Not Responding”). The same installer works perfectly on another PC (my girlfriend’s fairly old, low end laptop, which won't run Quest Link as graphics card is not supported), so I believe it’s specific to my system environment. Here are my system details and troubleshooting steps I have already taken: GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (officially supported according to your documentation) Windows Version: Fully updated Windows 10 (latest patches installed after a full factory reset) Drivers: Latest NVIDIA drivers installed with clean install Antivirus: Windows Defender exclusions added for the Horizon Worlds installation folder Run as Admin: Tried launching as administrator Compatibility Mode: Tested Windows 8 compatibility mode and disabled fullscreen optimizations Disk Check: Ran CHKDSK to verify disk integrity Event Viewer Log: Shows “Windows cannot access the file horizon.exe” error on crash Additional notes: Meta Quest Link works fine on my PC with this GPU. Horizon Worlds Desktop Editor installs and launches on my girlfriend’s laptop with no issues. I've been trying to get this to work for 2 days now, including doing the full factory reset of the PC, and still getting the black screen. Advice very very welcome! Thanks in advance!
