Black Screen of Death
Hi yall. My son's Meta Quest 3s crashed the other day, and since then, I have been following all the Meta steps to try and fix it. Unfortunately, I've exhausted all troubleshooting, rebooting, sideloading, and even factory resetting the device to no avail. I've tried the last step, which is contacting support, yet when putting in the serial number, "apparently" support isn't available for said device... I'm at my wits' end.
A little context. This started on December 31, but I was able to fix it by charging for a couple of hours, and then all was grand. However, as of Jan 1 (AM), the same thing happened. Sometimes you can see the room, and then it flashes, and the black screen of death appears. I've tried EVERYTHING now... I'm going to assume this is a software issue, as if it were a hardware issue, I shouldn't be able to see the room now and again. Urg, kids had it just over a year, so the warranty is no longer in play. Any help that isn't mentioned on the META site would be appreciated. Thanks.
