Boundary problem?

I have an Occulus 2. I can only play games while looking down. When I hold my head level or look up  the headset shows the room boundary. I have reset the boundary multiple times and all experimental options are turned off.

    Hello @CaptainCupcake18

Thank you for expressing your Quest 2 experience, lets get you back into the Metaverse as quickly as possible!

    Common causes of tracking issues:

Playing environment is too bright, oversaturating the camera, or has interfering lights.
Examples: Christmas lights, LED strips, direct sun exposure, etc.

Resolution: Adjust the intensity of lights, try turning some lights off, reduce sun exposure or use curtains/blinders.

Playing environment is too dark, preventing the tracking cameras working properly due to lack of lighting.

Resolution: Turn some light on, open curtains/blinders.

Playing environment contains reflective surfaces, interfering with the tracking cameras.

Examples: mirrors, television screens, window reflections, glasses, polished marbles, etc.

Resolution: covering the reflective surfaces while playing, play in a different location.

Playing environment does not have enough contrast between objects or textures composing it.

Examples: varnished wood furniture and parquet floors, all white walls, etc.

Resolution: Play in a different location.

    Dirty tracking cameras.

Resolution: Cleaning the tracking cameras by following the product care and best practices.

By default, the headset will use 6DoF tracking, unless it has been turned off in the Guardian settings panel or lost tracking while in VR.

    • Click on Quick Settings in the universal menu.
    • Select Settings.
    • Select Movement Tracking.
    • Locate Headset Tracking.
    • Make sure Headset Tracking is enabled.

    Clear your boundary history:
Bear in mind that if you have multiple accounts on the same headset, boundary history will be cleared for all accounts, not just the account you are currently using.

    • Press the Oculus/Meta logo on your right controller.
    • Click on Quick Settings (clock) in the universal menu.
    • Select Settings.
    • Select Environment setup.
    • Select Boundary.
    • Locate 'Clear Boundary history' and click Clear.
    • Redraw your Guardian boundaries by selecting 'Create new boundary' from the Boundary settings menu.

    Reboot the headset:
Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound.

If the boot-up sound is not heard:

    • Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
    • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
    • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
