Cannot acces the Quest settings menu from Oculus Link anymore

When using Oculus Link I used to be able to double tap the side of the headset to get out of "Link" and access the native Quest menu, which is very useful when you want to quickly change your boundary or adjust the brightness.

Now for the last few weeks (I think since v81 ?) I can't to that anymore : If I double tap the headset it activates passthrough and I only get a popup to return to the Link app.

Is there another way to access the Quest settings without completely quitting Link ? Is there a plan to fix this ?

Thanks !

    Unfortunately not.

I don't understand why this change was made........ this is  definitely not an improvement.

Actually, I think it's not a bug,  it was done intentionally.

But if many people are sending bug reports about that, maybe they'll change it again.....who knows.πŸ˜‰

To change the boundary while in Link, use the Link dashboard, and under the settings panel, choose Guardian->Adjust Guardian 😁.

You know what's really stupid, though? I use my headset while sitting at my computer desk, and the passthrough pop-up message is perfectly positioned so it completely obscures my view of my computer keyboard (it looks like a black rectangle in the screenshot)πŸ˜’. Nice own-goal, Meta πŸ˜–.

Simply feel your way to the correct letter. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

That pop up and removing the option to have the Quest menu even while linked to pc is just a bad idea......... it was good how it was......... I really don't understand why they did that.πŸ™„

Ah, good to know thanks. It's still stupid that we can't access all of the settings by double tapping the headset, but this helps a bit.
