Cannot get usb3 working with my quest3, only usb2.0 (but I got official usb cable from meta)
I bought the offficial usb 3 cable from meta but under windows only usb 2.0 is working.
I think it's because windows 11 use a generic usb2.0 ribver when I connect my quest3 as you can below:
How can I force windows 11 to use the correct quest3 driver ?
alexboiboule This is a common problem that you should be able to resolve with a little Google troubleshooting imho. Try googling 'usb3 reports usb2 with windows 11' and you'll get info like;
A USB 3.0 port can report as USB 2.0 due to a poor physical connection, an issue with the cable or port, or outdated/corrupt drivers. To fix this, try plugging the device into a different port, reseating the cable, or using a different cable altogether. You should also check the Device Manager to ensure the correct USB 3.0 drivers are installed and update them if necessary.
My Q3 with official link cable continues to work fine with latest win11 updates btw.
