CANNOT MAKE PURCHASES ON META QUEST STORE

I lost my phone that I registered the headset on, approximately 2 years ago, and now have a dumb phone ( i dont need a smart phone i get about 16 hours screen time as it is ). why am I not able to make certain purchases? the ones that I can, i have to go on the continue on browser bit and put my pin in then close the window and all is well. but recently nope. no dice. it needs to continue int he 'app' do i have to spend a couple of hundred quid on a phone that im not going to use, to be able to by apps. FUMING.
