Cannot redeem cross buy games after winter app overhaul (no support resolution since February)

Hello,

I'm primarily a PCVR user and got two titles to get with cross buy ("Shadow Point" and "Raccoon Lagoon").
Tried getting them with cross buy from Link app and getting "Purchase Failed / Error performing query." error.
Addressed support on 18th February (ticket #09211349). It's been almost 2 months and nothing changed.

My concerns are:
1. It's a global issue that happened after winter Link app overhaul. Has anyone managed to cross buy PCVR titles?!
2. Supports are not doing anything and just hoping the ticket will be closed. Is there a way to escalate the ticket? Two months is quite long time to resolve an issue. Also they provide generic responses like "we are working on the ticket, please wait".

    CROSSBUY IS FULLY WORKING NOW 🙂. I can now download all my cross-buy games on PC as well as Quest.

    I have a solution.
    The issue seemed to be either title (and was resolved by support) or sale related.
    In any case after refunding the game and purchasing it again on different sale I was able to redeem it in PCVR with cross buy.

    Hi Imgartn​ 🙂

    as Steve said, there are several threads about the cross-buy issue in the forum.

    Request a refund - support will probably also give you a store credit for the inconvenience - and then  buy the pc-version.

     Btw. if you buy the pc-version, you'll also have the Quest version....... there are no issues with cross-buy if you buy the pc-version.🤪

     A user mentioned that he contacted the devs of the games about this problem, some of them gave him a key for a free steam version.... so, that might also an option.

      Quest version is usually not the same as PCVR version.

      I'm preserving as many Rift exclusives as I can so they won't become lost media.

        I know 😁...... I mentioned that only to make clear that cross-buy is working when you buy the pc version, it just doesn't work the other way round.

        I have the pc version of "Shadow point" and have no issues to download the Quest version.

    Cross buying seems to be broken for about 20% of games. I also have Raccoon Lagoon and Shadow Point and can only redeem the standalone versions but not the PCVR versions.

    Support doesn't know how to fix it.

    On the plus side, several games that I didn't think were cross-buy turned out to be.
