I'm having an issue with teen account supervision. Basically my ex wants to add me as a supervisor for my son's account.
Each time she tries she gets an error: an error occurred try again later.
We are friends on Facebook, everyone can invite me, all my settings are correct. She can invite her sister but she cannot invite me.
Is there a way to debug/investigate so I know what's wrong with my account?

Probably there is nothing wrong with your account, but your ex can't invite you as supervisor because a child/teen can only have ONE parent as supervisor.

I think only the 13+ yo child can send invites for a parent to supervise them, not the parent (unlike 10-12 yo accounts)?
Yes, that's true.
But I'm not sure, if a teen who has already a supervisor on his account can send another invitation, since he can only have one guardian at time. Maybe he needs to end the supervision of this guardian in order to send a new invitation.🤔
You know that I don't have personal experience with child/teen accounts...... I'm waiting for you telling me exactly how it works after your daughter finally turns 13😁
What's weird is that my EX can invite her sister to supervise the account, while when trying to invite my account an error occurs.
elmahdi.alaoui That's indeed weird, according to Meta help pages, only one person can be supervisor.... plus like steve_40 said, normally teens have to send the invitation for supervise their account.
I have no explanation for that 🤷♀️
