Can't login to Meta Quest/Oculus Mobile App

Recently tried to link a new controller to my Quest 2. Oculus on phone (which has been updated to 'Meta Quest' refuses to login. I can loginto the Meta Quest site on the laptop - just not the app. I've reinstalled the app and changed passwords but nothing makes any difference.

If there's a way to pair a new controller w/out using the app that'd be fine or being able to login to the app would also work.

    For anyone who reads this looking for a solution. The Support Team suggested I clear out the bluetooth cache and restart the app. Doing that let me login again.

    Hey gsternbe, at the moment there's no way to pair the controllers without using the mobile app. In regards to your issue with logging in, what type of phone are you using? Apple or Android? Another user on this board had the exact same issue when trying to log in and pair with an Apple device, so I wanna see if it's a trending issue with iOS devices. 

    As for a resolution, it seems you've tried most of the troubleshooting steps that are available right now. Changing the password seems like the most obvious solution but it didn't work for you. I'm going to speak to a few people on the team about this and I'll update you within 24 hours. Thanks for your patience!

      I'm using an Android (A32 if it helps). I hope there's some way to work around it because my left controller is just about dead and when it goes that's it for me.

        Hey there, gsternbe! We apologize for not reaching out sooner about pairing your new controllers with the Quest app on your phone. We know how important this is in order to have a great VR experience, and we would be happy to look into this with you! To pair controllers with your app, please follow these steps: 

        1. Insert a battery into the controller, then tap continue on the Oculus app.
        2. Open the Oculus app
        3. Tap Menu in the lower right corner
        4. Tap Devices
        5. If necessary, select the headset
        6. Tap Controllers
        7. Tap Left or Right to choose which hand you’d like to pair.

        If you have done this and are still unable to pair the controller to the app, we advise you to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, then trying to pair your controllers once again. Please let us know if you are having any trouble pairing your controllers. If so, we'll be happy to help you further!

      I HAVE SAME ISSUE. ON IOS CANT LOG IN AND NOW IM LOVKED PUT OF ON IOS. NO RECOVERY CODES WORK NOTHING. NIW CAN I BE LOGHEDVIN ON ANDROID AND IOS?

    Over a year later and the issues with missing app libraries have NOT been resolved. Now the even more frustrating issue of not being able to log into the meta quest app has rendered many users headsets completely useless. Can you say CLASS ACTION? Who's with me?

      I think you're on the wrong thread?? OP couldn't pair his controllers without using the app and then his issue was eventually resolved. Am I missing something because if there was an issue that was unresolved for over a year then more people would be talking about it...

      To help us gather more details on how things are appearing, we'd like to confirm the following: 

      • How are your games appearing on the headset and within the mobile app?
      • What is the current software version running on the headset?
      • Are the headset and the mobile app connected to the same Wi-Fi?
      • When did you notice this issue starting to appear?

    I don't even have a phone so there's nothing I could do. 

    I tried everything I could but I still couldn't do anything.
