Charging issues since the December 2025 update?

After the mid December update, my backup battery (Kiwi) stopped charging my headset, the Oculus charger and block also would not charge the headset.  The only thing that would charge it was a USB A to USB C charger, but only gave a slow charge.

the Kiwi battery back up has been hooked up for a year solid so i know that there is nothing wrong with the charging port. still visually inspected, it is clean and no loose movement in any cable connections when inserted.

after going through all of the trouble shooting and trying a new BOBOVR pro back up i did the factory reset.

Now any of the USB c to USB c connections i try including both battery back ups work, but only if inserted upside down. that is not a workable solution for the battery backups, they do not have enough slack to invert.

Anyone else having this issue since the December 2025 update.

Meta is less then helpful giving the same prompts over and over and then trying to sell me a refurb.
