Connecting a child's Meta Horizon account to a new Meta Horizon account of the parent

The problem is a tiny bit complex... We are brainstorming for a while by now, haha, happy new year! Welcome to the future! :) So, my son's Meta Horizon (Meta Quest 3s VR, he is 10 years old) was connected to my Facebook account and everything went well. Yesterday my Facebook account got suspended and at the same time the VR too. My Facebook account was connected to an old email address, I have no access to that anymore. I don't really care about the lost Facebook account to be honest, even if it was hacked, I don't mind loosing that.  I made my own Meta Horizon account via another email address where I can add my son as a minor, but he wants his "old" account with all his progress and Quest Cash. Is it even possible without the recovery of that old Facebook account? I have no access to the that old Facebook account and that email address either. Is emigration possible like this? Please help, my son is really upset and I want to help him asap! TIA

    You must reach out to support and ask them if it's possible that your son can keep his "account" even if the parent account that was used to set it up got suspended.

    One tip: If you create a new Facebook account..... keep your Meta and your Facebook accounts separated, don't connect them. It'll save you from getting trouble like this😉

      Thanks a lot! I really appreciate your reaction and yes I've learned my lesson regarding Meta account connected to FB! Greetings from my kiddo, he is really happy that someone replied, we are going further with our mission. :) Cheers!
