Controller connecting issues as well as headset start up

We have been unable to use the controllers as they appear to have disconnected from the headset and have tried the battery removal and other guidance with no success.The other issue appears to be the headset as when we power on it comes up with the logo,then the password screen (which we can’t get past as the controllers aren’t showing as working) and then it appears to power off.We have tried charging for a few hours on another charger for a switch as recommended but we still have the same issues.

Has anyone else had a similar issue or may have advice on how to reconcile the issue before we admit defeat that it’s broken?

    So, you can't pair the controllers, because you can't pass the password screen to keep the Quest turned on?

    A factory reset will remove the password screen...... it's the only way to get rid of the password/pattern screen.

    Then you can setup the Quest again and you are - hopefully - able to pair your controllers.

    How to factory reset your Quest

      We have done the factory reset but the headset just turns on then goes off again so we can’t navigate to set it up again
