Controller Not Updating

Since about 2 or so days ago my left controller isnt turning on. Its saying its updating getting to about 33% then just stopping saying “update failed” i done the exact same update with my right controller and it took less than 20 seconds to finish. I have tried each and every possible thing to fix it that i could find on the internet, is there anyone who has actually done it that knows what there doing??

Try the Meta Quest software update tool.. Connect the headset to your pc and go here..

You might have gotten a faulty update that's preventing the controller updating. 🤞

    Good luck!

Yea but not everyone has a pc, yous are bound to have a way that doesnt resolve to a multi thousand euro piece of tech.

        Hi brooklyn.752953 🙂

You don't need a "multi thousend" eurp pc, you don't want to use it to play pcvr.

You just want to bring an  update to your headset..... no gaming pc is needed.

  • It could be a fault in the flash memory in the controller. The solution would be to have the controller motherboard replaced. Try Fix my oculus if you live in USA.
