Controller(s) failed 3x in month. Now the right has solid purple lights.
I am sooooooooooo tired of not being able to use my $500 quest 3 because of these controllers constantly failing.
the purple lights is new. The first two times, there was no explanation. Meta support is useless. Meta again wants me to send back the right controller, and the process takes a month. I basically have not been able to use it more than a few days after the first fail of left.
Meta keeps sending refurbished, won't address rhe firmware or bigger issue, and my warranty runs out soon, which means buying new controllers every week? Seriously?
I have done everything but a factory reset of headset because 1. It's a pain to set back up, and 2. I have a feeling it won't work anyway based on what I read. I put in fresh batteries and it either says it is dead or 70% which makes absolutely no sense.
why does this keep happening and is there a potential fix?
