Corrupt device message

My Oculus 3S shows a black screen after displaying the spinning logo and flashing a picture of the pass through for about 2 seconds. I took it a repair shop and paid $75 for them to tell me to contact meta because they couldn't fix it. I have attempted to factory reset several times, as well as do a sideload update without success. Today I got a message that said "this device is corrupt and cannot be trusted." This is the first time I have seen this screen. I cannot find any information about how to fix this on google or the oculus troubleshooting page. 

I tried to contact meta support, but it says it cannot find the serial number or my email associated with my account, which I'm not sure how is possible as it was working just fine before. I'm at a loss as what to do. There is no way to contact meta to get any assistance with this issue and the troubleshooting information is no help. 

Would love to know: 

  1. How do I fix a corrupt device?
  2. Why is it saying it cannot find my serial number and email, those did not change? 
  3. Why is it so hard to get help from meta?
