do not automatically turn off

Is there a way to set the Quest so that it doesn't automatically turn off the screen when I take it off? Because I often have to take off the Quest to edit code and then put it back on, and if I have to reconnect every time, it's a huge waste of time.

  • Put a piece of opaque sticky tape over the proximity sensor between the lenses. Be careful that the adhesive on the tape won't damage the sensor (maybe put a small piece of paper or cardboard in the centre of the tape to protect the sensor from damage).

Maybe a tiny band-aid will work too?

Yes, but having a band aid on the nose-piece makes me think of "nerd glasses" 🤣🤣🤣
