My son hard reset his Meta Quest 2. He's not able to log back into his profile to restore his data that was backed up to cloud. I've tried contacting support but no response, any help from the community? Is there a way to figure out what email is tied to a user ID?
How old is he? Child accounts don't have an email address. His profile should be there in the Family Center on your phone app or Family Center website. You have to send an invite link from there - send the invite to yourself, then use the link to add his profile to the headset.
Thank you. For some reason his user ID he is using it not showing up in my family center. So I don't see how to access it. Could have been a child account but we can find what it's linked to.
If it is not a properly set up child account, then the account risks getting permanently banned if Meta detects a child using an "adult" account.
