False low battery warning

I just had a low battery warning while playing Red Matter 2, but when I checked the status I had 35% remaining. Anyone else notice it? I got a final battery warning at 5% then but there was still 25% remaining. Very strange. I'm getting about 1hr 50 mins from the device while playing RM2 so that's about normal..Just the low battery warning is annoying.

  • Hey Maccyb123

We were having a look through the forums and couldn't help but notice your post about this false low battery warning, and we would like to lend a hand!

It sounds to us like you have encountered a strange bug during your travels through the dystopian universe of Red Matter 2! - Due to this, we'd like to recommend that you try out a hard reboot.

The reason we are suggesting this is because a hard reboot can be pretty effective in getting rid of glitches, and other performance issues.

    To hard reboot your headset:

    • Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound

If the boot-up sound is not heard:

    • Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
    • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
    • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

We also suggest submitting a bug report, to help us better understand this problem!

To report a bug from your headset:

    1. Press the Meta button on your right controller to open the Navigator.
    2. On the right, select Quick controls.
    3. Select Report problem.
    4. Select Include or Don't include to add complete logs and diagnostics.
    5. Follow the instructions to submit your report.

We hope this helps! If you keep encountering this issue please do not hesitate to give us a shout over on our DM's, as we do not want this bug to continue to affect your interplanetary exploration!
