Faulty item but can’t ship to me!

My son’s headset is only four months old and the left controller has already stopped working. I’ve managed to get a return approved, but Meta won’t ship to Guernsey. I tried to work around this by using my courier in Southampton, but the return label requires the outgoing address to match the return address. That means I’d need to physically travel to Southampton just to post the item with the correct label — which is obviously unreasonable.

It seems ridiculous that Meta can sell products to Guernsey, yet won’t support warranty returns from the same location. At the moment, I’m stuck with a faulty controller that’s still under warranty, simply because of an address restriction that I can’t do anything about.

    Hi there loveridgefamily

We understand you're having issues with sending back your controllers as from being in an un-supported country, we thought we could clear up some information for you.

In regards to your location, as you've mentioned Guernsey. We don't support that location, this means that we don't / can't ship our devices there whether they are brand new or replacements.

If you have bought your device through a third party website, for example:

    • Amazon
    • Argos

You can go through them to seek out a replacement device if your warranty is eligible for it!

We hope this was helpful, have a lovely rest of your day!
