handtracking not working with a link cable!!!!
u need to fix this! This is unacceptable. I didnt buy a meta quest 3 to play stand alone iwht the **bleep**tiest graphics and lag performance.
PLEASE FIX HAND TRACKING WITH LINK CABLE!

Quest Link does not support hand tracking. You need to use SteamLink.
doesnt work with cable either with steamLink. WHen i click connect via ccable it automatically connects to meta quest link app.

plautus​ according to this thread, it looks like hand tracking with Link has been mostly fixed in v81 which you can get via the PTC.
OK, I may have misunderstood your original post, I thought you meant hand tracking within PCVR games.
I've just found that I also have this issue: if I connect to AirLink and then exit AirLink completely, hand tracking no longer works in my Quest 3 Universal Menu unless I disable and re-enable the setting "Automatically switch between controllers and hands" or restart the Quest 3 headset. My Quest 3 is v79.1034 (build 5115411.17490.520) and the Meta Quest Link app on my PC is v81.0.0.828.254. I've reported the bug via the headset.
