Having 3 dots on Oculus Rift S and error when sensor tracking check

Im having this issue with Oculus Rift S, i can´t surpass sensor tracking check, after connecting usb 3.0 and Display Port cables. I can see a orange light on VR headset and later change to white light.

I try: restart VR Headset, I reconnect it to different USB 3.0, I try beta updates, I clean connectors, sensors and cameras, I unplug and plug in all connectors from VR headset, I try to disable, enable, restarting service from oculus debug tool. I try to change to beta public versions on meta quest link, i uninstall Graphics card driver clean them and reinstall correctly lastest version from NVIDIA, I have camera privacy windows 10 allowing access all apps.

Problem begin when i format my computer and put again Windows 10 Pro...

  • I have managed to solve it.

1º I have done a clean install of Windows 10 22H2 64 Bit on other Hard Drive:

The equipment used had the PC2 configuration:

    I9-9900

    32 GB DDR4

    NVIDIA RTX 4060 16 GB

2º I have installed the nvidia driver 560.94
3º I have installed the Oculus software.
4º I have done all the updates available for Windows 10 22H2,
5º I have restarted the team
6º I have completed the configuration wizard of the glasses Oculus Rift S, in less than a second the sensor check is I was able to continue the wizard configuration and installation of the Oculus Rift S glasses.

I have tried some Steam video games such as Quake VR and BallisticNG and both are display correctly on the glasses. Solved!

    - Then I repeated all these steps again by reformatting the disk hard and installing this time a Windows 10 IOT LTSC 64 Bit and everything has It went well too. Also in the PC2 described.

    - And finally: I have reset Windows 10 keeping only my personal files and then following all the steps indicated above. This time on PC1:

    I5-8600

    32 GB DDR4

    NVIDIA RTX 2070

Finally, I have tried to remove the 560.94 driver from nvidia for the last one available from today: 581.29. And VR glasses still work well.

I'm afraid it must have been the use of the Driver Booster program, it has had to put some wrong usb driver or graphics card despite the fact that it indicated the driver booster that was correctly installed and windows 10 device manager also said that it was fine...

It is important that they mention that the minimum driver for their program in the case of nvidia is 560.94 and that both Windows 10 22H2 and Windows IOT LTSC 21H2 work well in the September 2025 meta quest app software.

I recommend you to talk with meta support directly, im talking with them via email because need lot of checks so take contact with them inmediately! They need to change his meta link software because compatibility with Oculus Rift S is poor since one year ago, make them leave to work properly...
