What's happening is that your headset has gone black and is hissing. If anything else happens, feel free to narrate that too.

i had the same issue after one of the recent updates. i've fixed it, by updating via PC / USB-C updating:

My headset and my partners headset have just done the same thing, everything goes black and the oculus completely disconnects from meta horizon link. Seems to be since the recent updates that its started happening. Were currently on v85.

It just feels like we are being taken for a ride, the support site is discusting as meta hides from you when you need their help, I can't even use a different browser to log into my account as it thinks you are just trying to create a new one. I am too woried now that if I make any purchases with meta and I need assistance they will be no where to be found. As far as I am concerned I have just bought an overpriced android device. NEVER AGAIN with meta.

You can try to update it to v2.1, following the steps in the video.
Gear100 you can try that too and see if that helps.

The latest update is v85 so dont think this would work
