Headset isn’t receiving updates

So this is a bit of an odd one but whenever I go into the software update section in the setting it never actually receives the updates and just constantly searches for them. (Now I don’t really care if I don’t get updates just its a bit odd how I’m not getting them) also I use a Quest 3s on v81 also I want to avoid resetting my headset if possible 

It just sorta loops the checking for updates thing

Also I did have the software updates thing checked I just tried unchecking and rechecking it to see if that would help at all

    That's strange. I've never seen my headset do that. Make sure you are connected to 5 GHz wifi and that the Meta servers aren't being blocked by your firewall or something. Maybe connect your headset to a friend's wifi and see if your headset will find the updates. I would think you should be on v83 by now. v85 has just entered PTC.

    I haven't seen that before. steve_40 has a possible solution. One other thing to try. Switch on allowing updates while device is switched on and sleeping. Not a scientific solution but maybe if you leave it sitting there for a few hours it start working while you're not looking! 😁You never know!! Good luck!!
