headset stopped working mid play

i was playing on my quest 3s headset and i was playing poker stars while casting on my pc for a friend to watch, midway through i hear a pop sound and it completely shut off. i was charging while playing. no leds are showing when i plug  it in to charge, and it will not turn on at all. is there a fix or do i need a new one? i just got this in december.

    LostSedna. The pop sounds very ominous. Your headset is dead I think. What battery strap were you charging it with?

      I didn't have a charging strap. It was a long cable i use to charge it while sitting and playing.

    OK, what charger were you using? Did you use the charger that came with the headset, or a different one for mobile phone for example as they have longer cables?
