HELP!! Oculus Rift Display Port Disconnecting
Hello Meta Support,
Can you help me find a solution to my Oculus Rift issue.
The Display Port Keeps Disconnecting. Once plugged in to the Graphics Card I get a green light to move on, but 5 seconds later it goes red again?
I have tried every available internet solution provided on these forums and else where.
- Uninstall and Reinstall all software associated.
- including removing all leftover files from Oculus and Meta in the appData folders before a fresh install
- Updated all software and drivers
- Checked and rechecked all physical connections
- No other errors are presenting themselves to explain issue.
This Rift device worked without a problem a little over 6 months ago and has been stored safely ever since - So I've ruled out physical damage to any part of device itself.
I have tried to create a support ticket for this, but that is practically impossible!!!! I am constantly told that the serial number provided does not match the Meta account!! Assumed this is because I moved my Oculus account over to Meta and registered devices did not follow??. Or the association of accounts Facebook/Oculus/Meta does not carry over some device info - I don't know t.b.h - Extremely frustrating to not be able to create a support/help ticket without a purchased and registered to account device.
Is there anything you can do help or is my headset useless to me now?
