My Meta quest 3 is too warm after the v81 update. What should I do? No matter what I run or play, even when I'm just in the menu, it gets warm in camera mode, and the CPU and GPU utilization are 30-40% In VR mode at home, it's 50-60%? What's wrong with the update? How can I fix it? The helmet is only a week old
Sometimes a factory reset can fix this issue. Before resetting backup games/apps/progress on the headset with cloud backup and then reset. You can then reload everything. It doesn't take long. There's a high chance it will fix the overheating.
Press and hold the power button for about 20s until the headset powers off. Power the headset back on. That should fix it.
