Bought I Expect You to Die 2 for my son. But he gets error message: “can’t send gift. Recipient can’t redeem this gift. Please select another gift or recipient.” We are seriously bummed out, I was charged for it and he can’t play it.

How old is your son? Expect you to die has age restrictions. In my country it's 12+
Your son might have to send a request that allows him to play the game.
