Home Bar not loading/black bar

so I had a glitch while I was playing blade and sorcery and it basically broke my home bar and whenever I boot it up, it just shows a black bar that doesn't see to go away for up to 1 minute and it never comes back, ive tried shutting it down, restarting it, leaving the headset alone for a few days but nothing has worked, if you don't know what home bar I'm talking about, it's the bar where you can access your profile, quick settings , last apps youve used and pretty much has disabled my quest from fuction, if you know a solution which isn't factory reset, please tell me and if anything but factory reset won't work, please tell me how I can save all my games on there, I am planning to get a quest 3s on christmas so I hope it can work

  • What do you mean by "save all my games"? If you do a factory reset, you can simply re-download all your games, you won't have to re-purchase them as long as you use the same Meta account. Your save game data should have been backed up to the cloud, assuming you have that option enabled. Some games' data is too large for the cloud, in which case you would only lose your progress in those games.

    I would like to ask you a couple questions to make sure that we can help you as soon as possible.

    Did anything happen before you noticed this issue, was your headset dropped, hit or was anything spilled on it?

    Is the issue persisted or does it only occur during specific times, when you are in the home screen or playing games?

     

    If you could also restart your headset, to see if this fixes the issue for you.
