I'm on Quest V83 and a couple of versions ago I got lumped with the new navigator. I can't stand it. I've seen plenty of posts online saying you can disable it and go back to the Universal Menu via Advanced/Experimental settings. The problem is, I don't have this option in there. Any ideas?

In v83 there is no option to disable Navigator anymore. It has been removed.
I guess, you have to get used to the new Navigator.🤷♀️

Ugh... so be it. One other thing that really annoys me, they've taken away the option to filter apps by "Installed Only".
I noticed that too. A very annoying situation. Hopefully they'll fix it. I reported it as a bug. Everyone should do the same to encourage them to change that quickly.
Does Meta have 3 year old's setting up the UI. Why take the Navigator out of our options. I, for one like the old menu...what's the difference to a developer if I like the old menu...Meta, give us back the Navigator button!!
Thornsp51 It's not coming back. It's like getting a new version of Android. The old one is gone. You're only talking to users on the forum here, so Meta isn't seeing this. You can always contact the Meta development team directly on their website.
And the devs will fob them off and tell them to come here and post in the community forum 😁🤣.
Can I go back to factory settings to get rid of this new Navigator? It is driving me crazy to the point I don't want to use my headset anymore. Please tell me I have the option to not have this forever!!!

No, this won't work.
With a dev account you can use QGO to switch to the old ui. But i think, the old ui eventually gets removed completely from the software, so this is only a temporary option.
