i can't login to my meta email account

i had quest 1 with many games on it while back now i got quest 3 and can't access my account when i put my meta email and pw it get to the part where it asks for phone verification and it says that i requested too many times and i try again later even though i didnt try many times at all not even twice i waited a while day and same issue and i cant log in
