I don’t have access to my account that I spent hundreds of dollars on.

I created a seperate Facebook account for my oculus quest 2. I don’t think I used an email address on it and I don’t have access to the phone number or device I originally used. Now meta is not allowing me tock recover the account effectively scamming me out of hundreds of dollars. They won’t allow me to reset the password and at this point it’s beyond frustrating it’s theft and it seems like they are trying to force me to buy all of the games I already own all over again. I can verify it’s my account using government issue id face verification or anything like that but they won’t even give me the option. i would like to see them actually help me get my account back because so far it seems like they are doing everything in their power to stop me from recovering the account.

    Just to clarify, Facebook accounts are managed by a separate team and fall outside the scope of Meta Quest Support. While we’re all part of the broader Meta family, our team focuses specifically on Meta Store products and Meta accounts. That means we don’t have access to Facebook systems, but we’d still love to point you in the right direction.

     

    To receive more help with your Facebook account, we recommend visiting the Facebook Help Centre. It’s full of helpful resources and step-by-step guidance for account recovery.

     

    Now, regarding your Meta account, we’d be happy to take a closer look. Could you please share the following details with us:

     

    • Full name as it appears on your Meta account
    • Current alias/username as it appears on your Meta account

      Hi this is happening to me as well, I was hacked and I cannot contact anyone at Meta regarding the account lock. My VR has tons of content I cannot re-connect to, can you help me as well?
