Is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 compatible with Quest Link?

Hi,
I have a Dell XPS 15 7590, i7- 9750H with 32gb ram and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.
I have been trying to use my oculus link with Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 however I have noticed the oculus link cable does not support the
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card.
Are Oculus looking to make this compatible?

  • Yeah, the 1650 is sadly not supported with Link and I haven't heard word on when/if it will be supported. Your best bet is probably to just upgrade your graphics card. The 1650 Super is supported as are the GPUs listed HERE.

  • I get this answer from Oculus about fixing the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 this morning:

"We cannot provide you any specific dates addressing this concern."

I'm also on laptop with the same graphics card, did you find a way to make it work??

  • Well, if you did actually get it to run on your 1650 your laptop wouldn't even be able to run 2020. I have an rtx4060 and an i7 13700hx and i can only run it at like 15 fps in urban areas with vr.

  • I'm not currently using the GTX1650 graphics card, but when I first got my Quest 2, the computer I used for PCVR was a Ryzen 5, I believe, that had a GTX1650 graphics card. The basic one. Not the 1650s or the 1650ti... I say that to emphasize the model I was using because I think all too often people will say the model # for something(like graphics card) and wont specify even tho the different versions have very different specs. Anyways, sorry for that tangent. I had a Ryzen 5 with a GTX 1650 desktop pc that ran my VR games pretty good. I was pretty surprised. I know this reply is years late, but figure it may still help someone looking into getting a quest or something.

  • I have the GTX1650 and can play Half Life 2 Mod through Virtual Desktop but not Half-Life Alyx. I am unable to install Quest Link however
