Latest Update broke Framerates or/and Refresh-Rate

Hello,

I´m very very frustrated. Because I ran my Oculus Rift since years without any problems. I use it for DCS only - Surving trought the clouds.

 

Since the last Update (10th oct 2025)  yesterday, the refresh rate is down and the view is a slide show.

No new hardware, no other settings, no new software. Just the latest Update.

META: Please, why I´am forced to install every update even I won`t it? 

And why your service provide an untested update?

And why is it not possible to roll back to an older version?

I tested the graphics to the lowest possible settings. But there is still 10 frames per second. Doesnt matter what I tried. All my hardware is working fine- latest graphic card driver nvidia installed. Latest windows updates and so on. 

 

Could you please undone or fix the latest META update - Thank you.

    We're grateful to the Oculus Rift users for pushing the world of VR forward. As we look to the future, it is normal to expect some performance degradation. 

     

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to roll back to an earlier version. 

     

    We hope this helps to provide some clarity.
